Windows 10 Creators Update on Mac with Boot Camp Requires Extra Steps

If you want to run Windows 10 Creators Update on a Mac with Boot Camp, you actually have to install Windows 10 twice. First, install Windows 10 Anniversary Update and then upgrade to Windows 10 Creators Update.

Microsoft is aware of this issue and already has a KB article prepared with instructions:  KB4018812 New Install of Windows 10 Creators Update on Mac with Boot Camp

If you attempt to install Windows 10 Creators Update without an existing version of Windows 10 Anniversary Update, you’ll receive a stop error with the code 0xc000000f in winload.efi. To continue you’ll  need to remove the Windows partition completely and start again.
