WebMD Launches an Alexa Skill

WebMD is popular web and service destination for people looking to determine their ailments.  To extend its service, the company has delivered an Alexa skill where Alexa device owners can use voice queries to get answers to the most common symptoms, treatments, causes for conditions, definitions of medical terms and tests, and even diet information.

After enabling the skill, Alexa owners can say things like:

“Alexa, ask WebMD ‘what is diabetes?'”
“Alexa, ask WebMD ‘what are the side effects of Nexium?'”

The skill is available by searching the Alexa app or linking here: WebMD
