Vigil Health Solutions Enables Senior Living Residents to Use Alexa to Request Assistance

Here’s another awesome use of Alexa and voice assisted technology.

Vigil Health Systems now has delivered an Alexa skill that allows residents of independent living senior housing communities equipped with the Vigil System to communicate with care staff using just their voice. When skill is used, local staff are notified that help has been requested.

Examples of things residents can say…

“Alexa, tell vigil connect I want a drink”
“Alexa, tell vigil connect I’m ready”
“Alexa, tell vigil connect thanks for the help”

Where to get it: You can locate the Vigil Connect Skill in the Amazon Alexa app, enable it using your voice, or use the following web link: Vigil Connect

This skill requires a Vigil System to operate.

Alexa is available for Amazon devices Echo, Dot, Tap, Fire tablets, and Fire TV, but also on iOS, Android, and the web with Reverb.ai.
