A new feature for Windows 10 Creators Update allow you to connect your smartphone to your PC so that when you walk away and the smartphone is out of range, the PC will automatically lock itself.
To set this up:
- Pair your phone with your PC using a Bluetooth connection.
- On your Windows 10 Creators Update PC, go to Settings\Accounts\Sign-in options.
- Under the Dynamic lock area choose to Allow Windows to detect when you’re away and automatically lock the device by checking the checkbox.
Now when you carry your smartphone with you and you are out of range of your PC for about a minute, the PC will lock automatically, securing your PC against prying eyes.
