Update on the free Private Cloud certifications at MMS 2012: How to register

A lot of folks are interested in obtaining certifications this year at MMS 2012.  An overwhelming 96% of people polled say they will be trying out this new feature at MMS 2012.

As we’ve announced before, Microsoft is offering FREE certification exams at MMS 2012 for the Private Cloud.  However, there has been some confusion on how to sign up for these exams.  Obviously, if you’ve tried already using the way provided on the MMS 2012 web site, you’ve not been able to do so.  Because of this, some have assumed that it is just a “walk-up” event at the conference.

Microsoft will be updating CommNet on Monday, March 26th, 2012, so that you will be able to go ahead and sign-up for the Private Cloud certifications on the MMS 2012 web site.  An email will be going out sometime after CommNet is updated to all registered attendees to announce it.

So, stay tuned.

BTW: In case you missed it, you can get a head start on the Cloud Cert on the Microsoft Learning web site.  Check it out:  Get a head start on Microsoft Cloud Certifications before MMS 2012

EXTRA: There’s a couple new ConfigMgr certifications coming that have not yet been announced for MMS 2012.  These won’t be free, but will carry a significant, event discount.  More information to come on these.
