Tracking: Spooler Crashes After Installing the Servicing Stack Update for Windows 10, version 1809 from October 9, 2018

We might not be out of the woods yet with unexplained Windows 10 version 1809 bugs.

Just a heads-up for now as we track the overall impact of this one.

Reports are starting to filter in today that the Servicing Stack Update for Windows 10 1809 (KB4465477) is causing the Spooler service to crash – which means users are not able to print. And, of course, since it’s a Service Stack Update that must be installed before the actual CU, it cannot be uninstalled.
