There’s a couple reasons why you might want (or need) to reset an Amazon device.
First off, it happens that sometimes the only way to fix a device is to start from scratch. It may seem like you’ve just given up, but resetting an Amazon device can be extremely valuable.
Secondly, if you ever want to “re-gift” an Amazon device, you’ll want to first reset it back to factory defaults.
