Windows 10 1903 brings the ability for users to pause when updates are installed. The default option is 7 days which is available for quick selection from the Windows Update page in Windows 10 Settings.
But, by going into Advanced Settings, users can select a date for when updates should be installed. Windows 10 allows a deferral up to 35 days.
Of course, this option can be controlled centrally, but administrators should consider allowing users the ability to govern this feature. End users understand best when updates can negatively impact customer presentations and project delivery.
