Amazon continues to add various services to its Fire TV platform that support Alexa voice commands for controlling viewing. The lists continues to grow, albeit silently. So, how do you figure out what’s available and, more importantly, which voice commands will work with which service?
The simplest way is to use the Alexa mobile app.
Go to Settings – Music, Video, & Books – TV & Video – Fire TV.
(Here you’ll see the current video services available for Fire TV and Alexa.)
Tap the specific app to see the commands that are available for that particular service.
Incidentally, this is also available for the web version of Alexa (https://alexa.amazon.com), but the commands page is currently all gobbelygook.
Hopefully, Amazon will fix this soon.
