Windows 10 has a new feature called Storage Sense that, when configured, will automatically manage your local file system space to ensure you never run out of it.
To get started, you just turn on Storage Sense. You do this by going to Settings – System – Storage and then locate the option and toggle the feature to On.
If you want more control over how this feature works, use the Change how we choose to free up space automatically option.
Here you can alter how the feature operates by choosing when and how, along with the types of files it looks for.
