An APM bug that has to do with .NET 2.0 shipped with UR3 for System Center Operations Manager 2016. Microsoft continues to work on ultimately solving the issue, but its just not fixed yet. System Center 2016 Operations Manager has been granted its second Update Rollup and is available now in the Update Catalog. An, update rollout contains all the fixes created since the last update, so if an update is missed a customer only needs to install the most current one. For those customers still utilizing the Engyro Product Connector for OpsMgr 2005 and 2007, support ends on July 11, 2017. The Engyro Product Connector provided enterprises event sharing and event synchronization between OpsMgr and other enterprise management tools. For those customers still using this connector who need to replace it by July 2017, Microsoft recommends upgrading to System Center 2016 Operations Manager and integrate with a third-party connector if needed. Both Orchestrator and Kelverion offer integration packs that may suffice in replacing the functionality of the old connector. Since there is no RMS anymore, it doesn’t matter which management server I start with. There is no need to begin with whomever holds the RMSe role. I simply make sure I only patch one management server at a time to allow for agent failover without overloading any single management server.
This error is often thought to occur because a remote connection is not enabled on the server. However, this error is actually generated when the client cannot receive an SSRP response UDP packet from SQL Browser. This behavior typically occurs because UDP port communication is blocked between the management server and the SQL cluster that hosts the Operations Manager DW.
