First Look: Hi13 2-in-1 Tablet from Chuwi

Announced in November of last year and then revealed at CES 2017 in Las Vegas, the Hi13 2-in-1 tablet is a powerhouse and is positioned as a direct competitor with Microsoft’s Surface Book and Apple’s iPad Pro. I’ve tested and reviewed Chuwi tablets before (see: CHUWI Hi10 Pro 2 in 1 Ultrabook Tablet PC and CHUWI HI10 PLUS Tablet PC) and have found them to be pretty significant competition. The Hi13 is on its way to me for testing and review. I’m pretty quick to turn around these reviews so check back shortly. NexDock Not Dead Yet

Remember NexDock? The company spent early 2016 touting a laptop shell that could turn a smartphone into a full-fledged working environment. The gadget even supported Windows Mobile and Continuum technology – which had many Windows ecosystem lovers enamored. NexDock launched from a crowdfunded campaign that raised $ 360K for the development of the first generation of NexDocks. NexDock reportedly shipped the devices to approximately 3,000 backers in 60 countries around the world. But, productions problems (including a fire in the warehouse) prevented NexDock devices from making any sort of splash during 2016. Most had counted the company out.
