Simplifying Windows as a Service Terminology Changes – Again

After Microsoft announced some terminology changes for Windows as a Service customers turned something simple into a confusing mish-mash of complaint.

Due to the confusion, Michael Niehaus has taken to his blog to today to take out all the extra words and just deliver a simple message…

  • Windows 10 will have new features updates released to the Semi-Annual Channel twice per year, around March and September.
  • Each feature update will be serviced for 18 months from the date of release.
  • Office 365 ProPlus is doing the same thing.

 

Let’s see how long it takes for this message to also get confused.
