Recent Alexa Update Fixes MLB Skill on Dot Device

About 3 weeks ago, MLB.com rolled out an Alexa skill that gave listeners the ability to follow every team in the league for the entire season. Find more HERE.

When that skill released, there was a known issue that it didn’t work with Alexa Dot devices (the smaller, lower cost, hockey puck-like devices).

An update over this past weekend has finally fixed the issue. There’s an update for the Alexa Dot that solves the problem.

If your Dot isn’t working with the MLB.com skill, your device just hasn’t updated yet. You can either wait for the update or force it to update. See: Alexa Tip: Forcing an Update
