‘Provider is Already Defined’ Group Policy Error after Windows 10 Creators Update

After upgrading your Windows 10 computer to Windows 10 Creators Update you may experience the following error message every time the Group Policy editor is opened…

Namespace'Microsoft.Policies.Sensors.WindowsLocationProvider' is already defined as the target namespace for another file in the store.

This is actually an existing, known problem – one that has existed since Windows 10 version 1511 (Build 10586) was released, but has resurfaced for some with the Windows 10 Creators Update.

Microsoft supplies two fixes. One is to just ignore it and the other is to delete the Microsoft-Windows-Geolocation-WLPAdm.admx file.

Details here: “‘Microsoft.Policies.Sensors.WindowsLocationProvider’ is already defined” error when you edit a policy in Windows (KB3077013)
