Project Cheshire Releases in Preview as Microsoft To-Do, Wunderlist to Be Retired

Microsoft today has released a new app called To-Do into public preview. The app takes the best of Wunderlist and makes it available across iOS, Android, Windows, and the web.

One of the primary reasons for this app – over Wunderlist (which the company acquired in June 2015) – is that it integrates with Office 365. Office 365, of course, is Microsoft’s big cloud and subscription-based productivity suite.

Microsoft says that once the best Wunderlist features have been added to To-Do, Wunderlist will be retired.

Incidentally, the Windows link for the software still references the product code name…
