Microsoft’s latest client operating system may be getting all the glory today as the company is making its Windows 10 Fall Creators Update available, but its Server version 1709 is also releasing today.
The latest Windows Server version may not be its most popular product these days with due to customer confusion over its focus on the cloud, but the company is continuing the keep pace with innovations delivered in the client OS.
Software Assurance customers can download Windows Server, version 1709 from the Volume Licensing Service Center (VLSC) portal. Azure customers can also deploy Windows Server, version 1709 based on the image in the Azure Marketplace. If you run virtual machines in a hosted environment, you can also check the images that your service provider made available.
