Microsoft has included at least one new troubleshooting option in Windows 10 Anniversary Update, giving users two different options to try when devices don’t connect.
Locate the troubleshooting options by navigating to: Settings > Network & Internet > Status
The Network Troubleshooter option tests the current connection and then offers automated solutions for any problems it finds.
The Network Reset option (new to Anniversary Update) reinstalls network adapters to default settings (refreshing software and drivers) and then triggers a system reboot to ensure changes take effect. BIG NOTE: This option erases saved and cached network credentials.
