Microsoft Working on Its Next Customer Hook by Merging Office with Windows, EMS, and Azure

In a note on the Office 365 Roadmap page, Microsoft posted the following on Friday, August 17…

Office Roadmap Filter Improvements and new Microsoft 365 Roadmap
In mid-September, the Office 365 Roadmap will become the Microsoft 365 Roadmap. In addition to retaining all the current information and functionality of the existing Office 365 Roadmap, the new site will include Microsoft 365 product features from Windows 10, Enterprise Mobility suite, and Azure. The new roadmap will include updated filters, a downloadable spreadsheet and an RSS feed.
Estimated Release: September CY2018

According to this preliminary information, Microsoft will soon merge products and services for Enterprises and deliver a single offering to not only hook customers into the ecosystem, but move them quicker into its cloud platform.

Bundling has gotten the company in trouble before, and even recently has garnered Google massive fines. Could Microsoft be heading toward its next antitrust fight?
