Microsoft Unveils Product Docs as a Service to Replace the TechNet Library

Microsoft has supplied the world with another new acronym: DaaS.

No, it’s not desktop-as-a-service or data-as-a-service, but instead, docs-as-a-service.

I’ve had to keep tight-lipped about this for several months, but Microsoft has finally unveiled its next-generation of product documentation. This new documentation architecture is starting with Microsoft Enterprise Mobility Documentation, but it intended to eventually replace product documentation at the MSDN and TechNet sites completely.
