Microsoft to Launch Azure Developer’s Virtual Conference Series on June 21

Microsoft has been steadily moving toward more virtual events and there could be a time in the future where in-person events are clearly a secondary marketing tool for the company. Ignite, which happens in September, is a massive event that takes huge teams to plan, manage and execute. Virtual events allow the company to reach a mass audience more often and for a lot less cost.

The latest addition to its virtual conference library is Microsoft Azure Opendev. Microsoft intends to host this event every 3-4 months, ensuring that Azure developers have the latest news and access to tools for developing for the company’s public cloud services.
