Microsoft Replaces Checkbox with a Prompt to Keep Users Signed In

Microsoft’s telemetry shows that users want fewer steps to log in to its services, yet aren’t active enough to use the “Keep me signed in” checkbox.

So the company is adding a new component to hopefully better serve the customer.

Today, the company is removing the checkbox from its sign-in services and replacing it with an additional dialog prompt that will ensure users are aware of the option to stay logged in.
