Microsoft has added the much-requested capability to reuse, or copy, recent projects and plans into a new Microsoft Planner document. Essentially, customers can now utilize old project plans as templates for current projects, through a simple menu command.
Tasks, task descriptions, checklists, and labels and original plan members are copied over. However, task assignments, due dates, attachments, comments, and task progress is left blank so the new plan can go forward.
Microsoft says that this feature is also in the works to show up for Microsoft Teams and Office 365 groups.
