Microsoft is offering a free movie (X-Men: Days of Future Past) if you connect your accounts and sync your content.
You still have to be a bit apprehensive purchasing movies from a company that’s not geared to support these for the long term. Purchasing from a company like Amazon or Disney makes perfect sense. Amazon is a retail organization and Disney makes movies and TV shows. Purchasing from a company that is focused on its cloud services for the bulk of its future revenue seems like a gamble.
