Microsoft is moving on from Silverlight – its web graphics component – and suggests that customers do, too. However, customers who have standardized on the Firefox browser still need the be able to gain access to the Silverlight component as its still utilized in older versions of certain software dashboards. Firefox’s most recent release, version 52, has deprecated support for Silverlight and Intune customers can no longer manage clients.
Microsoft suggests that those customers can install the Extended Support Release version of Firefox, which still supports Silverlight and will continue to do so until early 2018.
