Microsoft recently announced that it is putting renewed investment in developing GUI-based server tools – instead of continuing down the path of requiring management of servers to be only command-line based. Microsoft is making the tools available just prior to the kick-off of its product overview conference in Orland next week. The conference is expected to house between 20,000 and 30,000 people – most of those actual attendees.
