The classic Azure Portal was originally scheduled to be shutdown on November 30, 2017, but Microsoft has had a change of heart, it seems.
The company today has announced it is extending the deadline to Monday, January 8, 2018.
The reason for the extension is ultimately unclear, but in the same breath as announcing the new deadline, the company also introduces new tools in the new portal to help customers migrate policies between the old and new versions.
You can make your own assumptions based on that.
