Microsoft Delivers Surface Hub Whiteboard App to Windows 10

Microsoft has delivered a “preview” version of its Surface Hub Whiteboard app to Windows 10 devices.

Microsoft Whiteboard is a freeform digital canvas where people, ideas, and content come together. Microsoft Whiteboard Preview is the next version of the existing Microsoft Whiteboard app on Surface Hub. Microsoft Whiteboard Preview adds support for Windows 10 PCs, letting users directly install from the Microsoft Store once it’s turned on for their organization. For the Surface Hub, the Preview app can also be downloaded from the Microsoft Store and will be installed side-by-side with the existing Whiteboard app.

This preview version can be used without a Microsoft account, but it will be required in the future. Additionally, if using an organizational Office 365 account, the global administrator will need to enable the Whiteboard app for you to use it.

The app is available for download from the Windows Store on any Windows 10 or Windows 10S device.
