Recent rumors suggest that Amazon might release new Alexa devices this year that provide intercom and telephone capabilities. Alexa customers have been requested these types of features pretty regularly over the last few months. Amazon has done a great job listening to customers and delivering on customer requests pretty quickly – so a new intercom/phone device releasing makes sense.
However, did you know that you can already use Alexa to provide intercom and telephone functions?
The Nucleus Anywhere Intercom device is a touchscreen tablet-type intercom system that also provides audio/video phone calls – and it takes advantage of Alexa integration.
Here’s the some capabilities:
- Make audio and video calls by simply asking Alexa
- Connects to the internet via WiFi, Ethernet, or Power over Ethernet
- Chat on the go: Use the mobile app to check in with from anywhere.
Additionally, the Nucleus devices are $100 off right now.
