Life360 Puts Alexa Notifications into Beta

Designed for family members, Life360 is a smartphone app and service that allows alerts and tracking of individuals. Originally promoted as an early adopter of Amazon’s latest feature addition of third-party notifications for Alexa devices, in reality Life360 has just entered into beta.

Starting today, users can now receive family location notifications through their Alexa-enabled devices. Our newly launched skill for Alexa (beta) is among the first to offer opt-in notifications for Alexa, enabling families to ask for real-time updates sharing loved ones’ whereabouts and to receive alerts that family members have arrived or departed designated places like school, work or soccer practice.
