Lessons in how not to say something: Microsoft’s statements on MMS 2013 and TechEd 2013

You can read as deep into anything as you want.  You can do your own amount of sleuthing and come up with the same answer just about every time, based on the cursory facts.  But, what happens when a public statement is as vague as saying “Hello”?

Our buddy Jeff James wrote up a great post after MMS 2012 to help spur the idea that MMS 2013 could be co-located with TechEd 2013 in New Orleans.  He asked Microsoft for a statement and they finally gave it.

4/26/2012 – 10:17am MT: Microsoft responded to this story by providing the following statements: "We haven’t announced plans for TechEd 2013." and "We look forward to a great show next June [2013] in New Orleans."

Reminds me of one of my favorite sitcoms, Seinfeld. You know – the show about nothing.
