Reports are mounting, suggesting that those users who are still running Windows 10 1607 (Anniversary update) have experienced their entire update history missing after installing the latest cumulative update (KB4034658). Those running the latest revision, Creators Update (1703) are not seeing the same issue.
Obviously, Microsoft wants to move all Windows 10 users to its latest updates, but the company – so far – hasn’t acknowledged this issue.
Additionally, some have reported that in addition to the update history being wiped, restore points have also been deleted.
