For those still holding out and using System Center 2012 Configuration Manager SP1 or System Center 2012 R2 Configuration Manager RTM, for which support ended on July 12th, 2016, there’s a new drop-dead date to consider.
On April 10th, 2017, the Intune connector that allows Hybrid Mobile Device Management for these already defunct product versions, also reaches end of life. After this deadline, the Intune connector will no longer connect and will just stop functioning.
Microsoft, of course, suggests customers move to the latest version of Configuration Manager, but also offers the following resources for help determining the plan of action…
- Upgrade to System Center Configuration Manager (current branch)
- Planning to upgrade to System Center 2012 R2 Configuration Manager SP1
- Planning to upgrade to System Center 2012 Configuration Manager SP2
