Get the List of Typed URLs for Microsoft Edge

Microsoft Edge keeps record of the last 50 URLs that are typed directly into the browser’s address bar. It does this to assist auto-type to make visiting your favorite websites quicker. But it only retains 50. Once 50 is reached, it starts replacing from the beginning if you manually type a new URL.

The 50 last manually typed URLs are stored in the Windows 10 registry at the following location:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Classes\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\AppContainer\Storage\microsoft.microsoftedge_8wekyb3d8bbwe\MicrosoftEdge\TypedURLs

Any scripting language can be used to retrieve this list, but I’ve cobbled together an SMS Installer script that retrieves the list from the registry and displays it in a dialog box:
