Announced at CES 2017 in January, Garmin will be delivering a series 5 of its popular athlete wearable, the Fenix. Garmin started taking pre-orders and promised a March 1st delivery for the new devices.
Those who took advantage of the pre-order period have seen their estimated delivery dates change. The original March 1st delivery date has been pushed back a bit. The new delivery date is April 14 or later. Garmin’s web site still suggest that delivery will take 5-10 weeks.
Garmin has not stated the reason for the change, but could be due to the popularity of its unreleased devices or just manufacturing delays.
