Free Microsoft SAM Engagements

While I don’t have any experience with Microsoft SAM consulting services, this consulting freebie seems like it would help organizations getting started with SAM. Keep in mind, these services will typically focus entirely on Microsoft software.

Microsoft offers free SAM services to customers with at least 250 desktops and one of more of the following volume licensing contract contract types:

  •   Enterprise Agreement (EA)
  •   Enterprise Agreement Subscription
  •   Select License Agreement
  •   Select Plus Agreement
  •   Academic Select Agreement

The following service options are available for free from Microsoft SAM partners such as Soft-Aid:

  • Creating a License baseline
  • Determine the Current State of SAM
  • SAM Tool Deployment Planning
