First-ever Separate .NET Patches Now Available for Windows 10 1809

Microsoft recently communicated that the .NET patches would now be separate from the operating system starting with Windows 10 1809. After a preview version of the updates was made available on December 5, the first set of official patches are now available.

Microsoft says there are no known issues with this update, however, anyone that has been working to patch systems for any length of time knows that .NET updates can bring some of the bigger pains. So, test, test, test before deploying globally.
