Even has info about the Lumia 900 bug

If you’re not aware, there’s been a significant bug discovered (by Nokia) that can cause the phone to disconnect from the AT&T network. Nokia is offering a software update, exchange policy, and $100 bill credit from AT&T to ensure customers are happy with their purchase.

Check out the full details about the Nokia and policy here:

Of course, this is with AT&T.  What was Microsoft thinking with the whole AT&T thing?  Didn’t we learn enough from the iPhone/AT&T fiasco?

Yeah, yeah.  Depending on your location, AT&T might work for you.  For me, I tried AT&T and at the time I couldn’t even get a consistent connection in a metropolitan city like NYC.  Verizon needs the Lumia.  I’m up for a new phone in August and I’d love to switch to the Lumia, but only if its available on Verizon.

The software update, incidentally, will come via an update through the Zune software installed on a PC. What? No over-the-air update? What year is this again? I’d really like to see Windows Phone do well, but things just aren’t synching for Microsoft.

UPDATE:  Nokia Lumia 900 update is now live
