Deconstructing Windows 10 October Update: Cloud Clipboard

Windows 10 October Update (1809) is now available to allow customers to upgrade to the latest version. This latest feature upgrade includes new capabilities and some changes. In this series, we spend time deconstructing the various changes, improvements, and additions.

Cloud Clipboard

The Windows Key+V keyboard command now does so much more in Windows 10 1809. Once enabled, you can save multiple copied items to the clipboard for later, pin the ones you use all the time, and make the items available for use across your devices. Once you copy text, pictures, etc. to the clipboard, open the stored content panel using the Windows Key+V keyboard command to review what’s available.

You can configure how this works at Settings > System > Clipboard.

You can also use the settings page to clear the content you’ve stored.

Your Roamed clipboard content less than 100kb. Currently, the clipboard history supports plain text, HTML and image less than 1MB.
