Earlier today the knowledge-base article and file download went live for Cumulative Update 4 for System Center 2012 Configuration Manager SP1:
Microsoft describes 13 fixes included in the CU that cover Software Distribution, Operating System Deployment, the Console, App-V, Endpoint Protection, and Site Servers. After upgrading your hierarchy’s site servers, you’ll need to deploy updates to clients and consoles. Also , you will have to update your Boot Images and re-make any related boot media.
The update includes the November 2013 anti-malware platform update. After installing CU4, consider testing and deploying the January 2014 anti-malware platform update.
We’re all eagerly watching for the first Cumulative Update for ConfigMgr 2012 R2, but nothing has gone live quite yet. The annual Microsoft TechReady event is going on this week, so it is possible any major changes might be on hold until next week. As these CU’s are supposed to be quarterly, it likely isn’t too far away from release.
While you’re waiting, take a look at all the goodies that are fixed in the rest of the System Center suite:
I hope that helps!
