Critical Security Patch for Microsoft Edge Rolling Out Today

If you check your Microsoft sources (MU, WSUS) today you’ll see a new update available for Windows 10. Update KB3211320 is being pushed out to resolve security issues with Microsoft Edge and is intended for Window 10 Build 1607 (Anniversary Update).

Interestingly, no reboot is required after the patch installs.

Also, a formal KB page does not yet exist, but we’ll update this news post when its available.

UPDATE: This may actually be a rerelease of an Adobe patch delivered during the original Patch Tuesday for January 2017. According to the original January 2017 bulletin

UPDATE 2: The KB article is now available: Servicing stack update for Windows 10 Version 1607 and Windows Server 2016: January 24, 2017
