ConfigMgr Current branch (version 1602) Now Provides Office 365 Update Management

According to Microsoft, one of the top feature requests from customers has been to be able to use System Center Configuration Manager to update Office. Of course, ConfigMgr has always been able to update Office, but it’s never been an easy task.

In Current Branch version 1602, Microsoft has sought to streamline the ongoing update management for Office 365 clients. Through deeper integration between ConfigMgr and the Microsoft Update service, the combined workflow tools allow for a consistent process to discover, view, deploy and track available software updates.

To use this new functionality, you must install the 1602 update.
