According to Microsoft reported data, its Slack competitor, Teams, has now reached the 200,000 mark for organizations using the collaborative product. Microsoft Confirms Teams Product Will Eventually Replace Skype for Business

Today at its Enterprise product announcement conference, Ignite, Microsoft finally confirmed officially that it will be replacing Skype for Business with its newest Office 365 gem, Teams. For customers to prepare for the change, Microsoft will not be renaming Skype for Business, as some have suggested, but instead will be promoting Teams as the preferred communication tool for enterprise licensees.  Skype for Business will still exist – and even get an update next year – but Microsoft will be suggesting that companies move to Teams.
