For those still lumbering along with the old Office 2007 product, you should be aware that this product suite and its separate applications, reaches its final support destination next month. On October 10, 2017, Office 2007 and its various applications will go beyond Extended Support. You Can Switch to the Windows Store Version of OneNote Today

From the myITforum TipLine… Microsoft has been allowing some users to test the company’s Windows Store apps for Microsoft Office for a couple weeks now. These apps are still a work in progress, but work fairly well. OneNote on the other hand is available now for anyone who wants to use it. You can run the desktop (legacy) version and the Windows Store version at the same time on the same computer, while testing to get used to the new UI.
