Where to get it: You can locate the Big Sky Skill in the Amazon Alexa app, enable it using your voice, or use the following web link: Big Sky

The update that brought the alerting capability, also brought these additional features:

  • “Just the temperature”: When you only need to know the temperature. “Alexa, ask Big Sky for the temperature” Or, “Alexa, ask Big Sky for the temperature in 3 hours.”
  • You can now choose between 4 different ways to get windspeed reported: mph, kph, meters/second, knots!
  • UV Index info. You can get the UV index for any hour in the next 48 hours. “Alexa, ask Big Sky for the UV index….in three hours….at 4pm”
  • Weather Almanac: “Alexa, ask BigSky what was the weather on June 1st 1969?”
