August Sees 1 Security Update and 29 Non-security Updates for Microsoft Office

Today’s the day. Today, you can expect a bevy of Microsoft Office updates to hit the wire. But, this month is a bit strange. The first Tuesday of each month is the regular schedule for Office updates, but since August 1st fell on Tuesday – Microsoft delayed delivery and is pushing out Office updates the same day as regular security updates. If history is any indicator, this will result in a high level of failure.

This month, Microsoft has released 1 security update among a total of 30 updates – 29 of them are not security related.

KB 4036121: August 8, 2017, update for Microsoft Office

As always…testing is a requirement. Microsoft’s Office updates have set many customers back on their heels in the last few months due to the update introducing problems of their own.

If you experience any issues with any of the updates, let us know.
