As Intel Warns Against Patches, Apple Finally Releases Protection for Older Systems

Just this week, Intel began telling OEMs to hold off delivering the update for the processor security vulnerabilities and to wait for a better one. Intel identified an issue that caused computers to bluescreen and reboot.

This hasn’t deterred Apple from releasing mitigating patches for its older operating systems, however, many believe that new operating system patches might need to be developed and delivered once the fixed Intel update is available.
