Amazon is steadily working to ensure its WorkDocs customers have all the proper tools to work efficiently with its service.

Just a couple weeks ago, Amazon unveiled the ability to open Microsoft Word docs directly in a browser. Now the company, through a partnership with Hancom Thinkfree Office Online, is providing the capability to make real-time collaborative edits.

Starting today, you can create and co-author Microsoft Office files in real time in the Amazon WorkDocs web application using collaborative editing powered by Hancom Thinkfree Office Online…With collaborative editing, users can work together to create content, and make changes to their Microsoft Office files without having to worry about switching applications or file formats.

The feature is made available at no extra cost to WorkDocs customers, but administrators will need to enable the feature before it will work.
