At a keynote recently, Amazon announced new features coming soon including better conversational capabilities for voice requests and easier ways to locate and utilize appropriate skills.
Those two features are still on the table to roll out soon, however one of the other features is rolling out today.
After an update, Alexa will now be able to remember things for you. For example…
“Alexa, remember that I put the spare key in the cookie jar on the kitchen counter.“
Later on, you can just ask…
“Alexa, where did I put the spare key?“
And, she’ll respond with…
“You asked me to remember that you put the spare key in the cookie jar on the kitchen counter.“
We’ve tested here and its already working.
After Alexa records your remembrance, you can edit the voice card to modify (edit) the stored information or delete it.
