Amazon last week began rolling out a new firmware update for its second-generation Echo devices. The update seeks to solve a big outcry from early customers who complain that the new Echo device produces less quality audio than the first-generation.
The update delivers and installs automatically, but you can check to see if your Echo device has been updated by going into the Alexa mobile app and verifying the firmware version is 592452420.
The update focuses on improving the bass range.
